Suzy Q's Info...

Suzy Q's Story...
Suzy is one of Nina's puppies. They were found living under a trailer in Georgia and later surrendered to B.A.R.C. Nina's puppies are a perfect example of why spay/neuter is so important as "accidents" happen. We believe these pups to be mixed with Labrador Retriever. They are approximately 11 weeks old. Suzy is being fostered by Hayley and Whit in Brunswick. She will be spayed prior to adoption. Suzy Q is chocolate in color unlike her other brothers and sisters who are black and white.

If you do not live in any of the counties below, please do not call or fill out an application because you will not get a response. You can always contact your local animal shelter or Boxer Rescue in your area to see if they might have what you are looking for. Thank you, BARC.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suzy Q, a Gainesville Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Gainesville, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Gainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
