Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our pretty Eliza! Eliza is a sweet, super smart 3 year old black/rust, cropped and docked beauty. Eliza's owners were transferred overseas and were afraid Eliza wouldn't survive the long transport to the Middle East so they asked DAR&E to find their girl a loving home. Eliza has taken it hard losing the only family she has ever known. She is an independent girl who bonds deeply once she surrenders her heart to you. She is friendly but reserved with strangers. Like any proper young lady, Eliza likes to get to know new people a bit before they get too familiar with her. She is an alert sentry when she is outside and loves to chase birds and butterflies. Eliza loves to go for long walks on our fenced property where she can explore freely but she never gets far away from her human. Eliza just turned 3 on May 31 so her energy level is great for someone looking for a young, active companion that doesn't have that bouncing off the walls high energy that some younger dogs have. She enjoys chewing on antlers and bones and loves her toys. She likes to put her toys or bones in your lap while she chews them. Eliza isn't into fetching but we had fun making her video: https://youtu.be/z4n42E_9B6k. Eliza is house trained and rides well in a car. She seems to get anxious when crated but can be crated if necessary. Eliza is not destructive in the house. Eliza was not well socialized with other dogs when she was a pup. She can be reactive to other dogs if she feels threatened or unsure of them. Eliza is looking for a quiet environment in an adult only home with a good sized fenced yard where she will be the only pet. Eliza will benefit from a confident owner who can give her consistent structure and boundaries so that she can feel secure; someone who understands the sensitive Doberman temperament. If you have plenty of time, patience and love to give to our sweet, sensitive girl she will reward you with her love and total devotion. If you have the right environment for Eliza, email me to find out more about our girl.
