Honey Bear's Story...
Honey Bear's Story...
My name is Honey Bear. Listen to my story and you'll see why the name suits me.
I spent the first eight years of my life with my family, who recently surrendered me to an animal shelter. I still don't know why. My foster mom can't stop talking about how sweet I am. She says I'm a world-class cuddle bug. I get along very well with children, dogs, and cats, and I love to follow my people around wherever they go.
I'm a pretty easy-going boy and enjoy the good stuff in life. My favorite pastimes (besides snuggling of course) are snacking on delicious treats and going on walks. Whenever I see that leash come out I get so excited! Leashes mean walk time, and there's nothing better than taking a walk with your pack. But I also enjoy the couch life, and love to spend my down time snuggling with my foster family.
I am very healthy - a tad on the chubby side (31 pounds), but nothing a lot of fun walks can't fix!
I'm looking for a new snuggle buddy, so if you're looking for a new companion that's as sweet as Honey, then I'm your guy. I am move-in ready: housebroken, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
If you'd like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website - http://www.animalalliesrescue.org/adoption-application and choose me - Honey Bear! My adoption fee is $150 and includes all of my routine vetting, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, FelV/FIV testing (kitties), deworming, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, boarding and transportation costs if applicable, along with a free* trial offer for 30 days of 24PetWatch pet insurance!
*Dependent on meeting eligibility requirements: Dogs 8 weeks to 10 years of age and cats 8 weeks to 12 years of age. This offer is not currently available to residents of CA, PA or RI.
