Layla is doing well with potty training but needs prompt attention upon waking and being taken outside to use the restroom and regular breaks. The outside world is a still scary place and having her foster dog sister by her side helps boost her confidence. She has learned to play like a dog and enjoys rooming around and jumping and play-growling with her foster dog Sister. With a little more work she will be a really good fetch partner. She lives to cuddle and sleeps under the covers. She is learning to live and play properly with her human foster Sister. I still recommend a household with older children as she needs needs to gain some confidence around unpredictable little humans. Another confident dog will also be helpful learning confidence. She will kennel when asked and is so good, but still would rather be with someone than alone, and she will voice her opinion on that. She still needs to get some weight on and is currently weighing in at 12 pounds. She has adorable long legs and can jump crazy high. She does need some leash work but comes when called.
Layla is just so smart, but since she was not properly taken care she is a little behind on training skills that most dogs may have. She has been catching up super quickly and we know is just a short amount of time she will be the best, happiest little girl!!
