My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 2/27/17

Jax's Mom was found on the streets of Houston starved, all skin and bones and searching for food to sustain herself so she can continue to nurse her pups. Mama dog now named Gemma was so scared of people and did not trust that she had to be trapped. She would not lead us to the pups although our volunteers searched the area where she was found and followed another dog that she was with and lead us to her pups. .... and Jax was one of the pups

Jax was only 5 weeks old when we found him and he and one of his litter mates tested positive for Parvo. And after a long few weeks of fighting to stay alive and survive... he came through and is a Parvo Survivor. He is now healthy, strong and full of life and definitely lots of puppy energy.

Jax is crate trained, and doing good on his potty training, good on a leash and loves to run and play. He is good with dogs, big and small but has not been around cats, although he is young enough that he can easily be introduced to a cat with no issues. He is good with children and loves to cuddle.
