Izzy is looking for her forever home. She's a 1 yr old doxie mix who weighs about 16 lbs. She gets along with cats and dogs and is great with kids. She is house trained. Izzy is a little shy at first, but warms up to people once she gets to know them. We're told that she's a cuddler so if you are looking for a couch potato buddy to binge watch your favorite show(s), she's the perfect companion for you.
We are a small foster-based, 100% volunteer, animal rescue based on Long Island in NY. We do not have a facility, so all of our animals live in homes, just like yours, with other pets, kids, etc. We save animals from high kill shelters and help local outreach groups who save animals from hoarding or abandonment cases. All of our volunteers actively seek new, loving homes for these animals.
Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Adoption Process...
All animals require an application and fees to help defray the costs of vaccinations, spay/neuter, transportation, boarding, food, etc.
Humane America Animal Foundation, dba Adopt-a-Pet.com, is a non-profit, tax-deductible 501(c)(3) adoption advertising charity. Our mission (and passion) is to help
get homeless pets out of the shelters and into loving homes. Let us know what you think! Suggestion & Comment Box
