My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Jagger (HWTH#17241A). He is a Shepherd/Husky mix, DOB: 7/16/16. Jagger weighs approximately 60 pounds and stands 23 inches at the shoulders. He was brought to Halfway to Home with a few other dogs and his relinquish sheet states that the reason was they had too many dogs to care for properly. So now, Jagger needs to find his perfect Forever home. Jagger is a sweet dog who may need just a little time to adjust to all the recent changes in his life. Lots of love, good-quality human companionship, structure, playtime and sufficient exercise to keep him fit and out of mischief will go a long way in helping Jagger feel secure in his new home. When Jagger feels comfortable in his new surroundings, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training, other obedience commands and the bonding process. Once Jagger has bonded with his new owner, he will make a loyal canine companion. Jagger is good with other dogs but does not do well with cats. He is good with children and loves water. He is also crate trained.

At the rescue Jagger is housed in a large pen with Jade. They walk well together. For more information on Jagger, please call Sandy at tele # 661-824-4495.
