My cat, Riley, is a 10 year old, 14 lb, Maine Coon-Tabby mix. He is an indoor cat, very well trained with a litterbox. He is very sweet to people, although he does not like cats or dogs, and he would not do well with younger children as he does not like to be picked up or pet/scratched in certain ways. He is pretty low maintenance besides all of that. He would be perfect for a household of adults and/or teenagers.
Riley is neutered. He was at the vet last a couple of months ago. For a potential adopter, I can obtain and transfer his paperwork. I know he is up to date on rabies and other pertinent shots. He has no special diets or health conditions. He scratches his mouth and ears frequently but there is nothing seriously wrong with either. Having metal bowls for food and water instead of plastic would help, and he may need ear care from time to time. He pukes occasionally. He really likes human food and scratching on cardboard.
