Update on Lena! She got her stitches removed today from her nose and it has healed and looks great!! Nothing is growing back on her nose but her lung and heart area doesn't look good on X-rays. It may be her heartworms we just don't know yet. Since she has healed so well we are going to get her in for her 1st of 2 heartworm treatments on Monday. Once she gets her first treatment she will be available for adoption LOCALLY only because she is going to need to be taken back to our vet in Clover in a month by her adoptive family. Please keep in mind that she did have cancer, we may have gottten it all but there are no guarantees it won't come back or show up somewhere else. She could live for months or for years yeas but she has a wonder happy spirit and doesn't act sick at all. Lena gets along great with other dogs and loves to cuddle. Her adoption fee is a $100 donation. Here is the link to our application, https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=YSHTKGDY
