Marta's Story...
Marta is a one year old little mix that we think is partly Scottie. She is absolutely darling, young at about a year old, with tons of soft fluffy fur. She is not a big shedder, and loves a nice brush. Marta has big, expressive brown eyes that speak volumes. She was rescued from a high kill shelter and is obviously very grateful for a chance at life. She is a total love bug. She is very easy going, yet quite playful with others. Once you see those eyes looking at you, you will completely fall in love. Marta will come to you spayed, microchipped and all shots up to date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marta, a Alta Loma Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier for sale in Alta Loma, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog from a breeder in Alta Loma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alta Loma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alta Loma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alta Loma paves the way for another one to be saved.
