Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nefetari is a beautiful 1-year 8-month old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on August 2, 2017 with three 5-month old kittens (Antony, Caesar, and Cleopatra).
Nefetari has a gray medium smooth coat, a long fluffy tail, and a darling face with a gray button nose and large golden eyes. This young mother is friendly but understandably a little confused about being in an unfamiliar place with so many other cats :( Her kittens are being housed in a large tower in our lobby while she is in our Jungle Room.
Nefetari was given vaccinations, wormer, and Revolution flea treatment on August 2 2017. She weighs 7.4 lbs and will be available for adoption after she is spayed. Nefetari is available for foster or rescue at any time.
Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues.
Update: Nefetari's kittens (Antony, Caesar, and Cleopatra) have been spayed/neutered and have been adopted into their very own homes. Their beautiful mother is still waiting for someone to fall in love with her and offer her a fabulous home.
Nefetari is being listed as a 'Special Needs Cat' since she was diagnosed with a Grade 1 heart murmur when she was taken to a low-cost spay/neuter clinic on August 30, 2017. Someone who has fallen in love with Nefetari (but cannot adopt her personally) has offered to pay for Nefetari's spay procedure at one of our local veterinarians if that will help her find the loving home she deserves.
Nefetari was combo tested on January 9, 2018 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.
