I am one of three kittens born to a stray mom, who luckily for us, chose a nice family that took
good care of us. Unluckily, when the landlord found out about us, we had to go. This kind
couple did not want to take us to the shelter; instead they took to Petsmart in Fuquay-Varina
to see if they could find us homes. Luckily for us, a couple, who had been rescuing cats for30
years and wanted to retire, was visiting the store that evening. They were not happy about us
being offered as free kittens; however, they could not leave us completely to chance so they
took us home to foster. All of our names begin with the letter A and my name is Arden. I am a
gray and brown tabby. I am adventurous, loving and sweet. I must check everything out from
new toys, to food, the animals on the other side of the doors and all new sounds. I enjoy
playing with my brother and sister, dangling strings, rolling balls, and chasing anything that
moves. My purr is sweet and my meow is loud. If you are looking for a kitten, which will grow
up to be a sweet beautiful long tailed girl kitty, that’s me! Please apply for me before we both
miss out. Thanks in advance for caring.

Adoption fee of $115 includes spay, microchip, vaccines, deworming, FIV/FeLV testing, and flea prevention

About Two Paws Up NC Shelter Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Who We Are
2 Paws Up started in early 2007 as a small group helping to transport animals from the Harnett County Shelter to people who wanted to adopt but could not make it there themselves.

Since then, we have expanded our services to a full adoption agency. We vaccinate animals upon their arrival and get them any necessary health care, including spaying and neutering.

Any animal in our group will be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption. We cannot help the problem if animals keep mating!

We have recently been approved as a North Carolina Non-profit organization, and are waiting for our 501(c)3 paperwork to be finalized! Hooray!
Why We Are Different
As a future pet owner, you are probably looking for an adoption agency that is right for you. Each rescue group should have something that appeals to different groups of people, so everyone can find their future pet. This is why we think we are different:
• Our adoption fees vary between animals. We do not charge you for something we didn’t do. For example, if a dog came into the shelter already neutered, the cost of that neuter will NOT be included in his adoption fee.
• Our main focus is shelter pets. Most rescue groups focus on stray animals before they end up in the shelter. We try to help as many animals that are in imminent danger of being put down. We do accept animals from elsewhere as well, but high-kill shelters are our main focus.

Our Adoption Process...
