My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

October 2017: The “Golden Girls” are beautiful black Lab mixes. They are 7 months old as of early October. They were found living under a trailer and our southern rescue partners saved them. Sophia is the most shy of the Golden Girls but she is doing well at doggy day care where she can spend time with her doggy friends. It takes her more time to feel comfortable with new people than new dogs but once she does she is affectionate and sweet. When a new potential family meets her they need to understand it takes her time to feel safe. One thing that really helps is the presence of another dog, and we will only consider a home with another canine buddy for Sophia.

She weighs around 40 lbs now and is such a doll. She would do best in a quiet structured home with a dog buddy.
