This is Captain Kirk. He is an active guy searching for an active home. It will be essential that Kirk find a home that will keep him physically and mentally stimulated. If you are looking for a running or hiking partner, Kirk is your guy. He is smart, housebroken, up to date on his shots, microchipped. Five years old, 33 pounds (vet said he could use to lose a few), great on the leash. Knows many commands (sit, down, home, couch) but could learn more. He even rings a bell at the back door when he needs to go out. He's a great snuggler too! Loves to sit on the couch and get belly rubs. This is a great dog for the right home. Kirk just had an evaluation by a professional trainer who said that Kirk is responsive to training, a good walker on the leash, and a happy dog. He will need socialization to other dogs.
