Rageddy Ann's Story...
Raggedy Anne/Boo Boo, hailing all the way from Arkansas, is now on #LongIsland #NY and looking for her #fureverhome! This cutie is a very sweet and friendly housetrained 1-2 year old 13 lbs #cairnterrier mix! She does shed but minimal! Her foster family tells us: ” She is friendly and playful and a little sassy! She’s a #snuggler, sleeps through the night, and fully house trained. She is not yappy. Loves #walks, car rides, and even #boat rides. She’s been great with our kids and really likes our 4 and 7 year olds who are used to dogs. She’s also very friendly with stranger’s kids we’ve met (at park, during walks, etc.). That said, she is a smaller dog and I think she would probably do best with older kids. She’s fine with other dogs, and not afraid to assert herself, but our sense is she would thrive as an only dog – she’s a bit of a diva 😁 and will chase squirrels and cats!” Raggedy Anne is spayed, up to date with age appropriate vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400. We require a fully fenced in yard not invisible fence. To adopt Raggedy Ann please go to gimmeshelteranimalrescue.org to apply.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rageddy Ann, a Sagaponack Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Sagaponack, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Sagaponack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sagaponack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sagaponack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sagaponack paves the way for another one to be saved.
