My caregivers say I am one sweetest boys they've come in to contact with! I am super duper laid back and chill. A good boy in my crate. I am super submissive with both people and pets. I am still learning how to be a dog and learn to play, but I am great with other dogs. Maybe they will teach me! I am joining Minnesota on June 17th and I am part of the Foster to Adopt program. Foster to Adopt (FTA) is a special program that Ruff Start uses to help many more animals find homes and to help families find that "perfect" fit. This program encourages applicants to become fosters with the intention of adopting the animal that they are fostering. The FTA has 10 days to decide if the animal is the right fit for their family once the animal is in their home. If they don't decide to adopt, the FTA continues to foster until the animal finds it's forever home. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out the foster application today and add "Tangerine" to the "Why do you want to foster" question!
If you are interested in me, please fill out an adoption application at www.ruffstartrescue.org. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal. Once we receive your application, a placement coordinator will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
Please check out our website, www.ruffstartrescue.org for more details and additional pictures on any of our animals!
All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
