Have you always wanted a pet pig but know you will never live on a farm? Would your HOA and/ or spouse not approve? Well, we have the perfect solution to your conundrum! Robbie is an adorable little dog that just so happens to be short and squatty and snorts when she eats and gives kisses. This little pig of a dog also walks well on a leash, is potty and crate trained, is good with other dogs, and is cat friendly. She also sits on command. She currently lives in foster care with male and female dogs of various sizes. She is shy when she meets new people but is very easily won over with some kind words and cookies. As she is a little pig-dog, Robbie will do essentially anything for treats! The only negative thing her foster mom can think of is that Robbie snores like a truck but we suspect that her foster mom does too, so we are not sure she has any grounds to complain.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at Petland Discounts in Southbury on Friday, November 23rd from 2pm - 6pm. On Saturday November 24th CPR will be at PetSmart in Plainville, from 10am - 2pm. On Sunday November 25th CPR will be at Cleaner Tails located at 32 Stony Hill Rd in Bethel from 10am - 1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $425 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
