My story

Actual Date of Birth: 3/7/2017

SPARROW'S mom came into the shelter very, very pregnant. Thankfully, a shelter volunteer was able to take his mom home so that she could have her babies in a safe, clean environment. A few days after they were born, the shelter asked FFAR if we could take them. Thankfully, we had room and took SPARROW and his 4 sisters into our foster program.

SPARROW'S mom was feral, but the kittens have been socialized since birth. SPARROW has thrived in foster care. He is super sweet, playful and purrs at the drop of a hat. He has never been alone in his life and does need to go to a home with another pet (either cat or dog) or be adopted with another kitten.

Sadly, because SPARROW is black, he will have a much harder time getting adopted. Unfortunately, black cats are often overlooked for some of the more colorful cats. Black cats somehow realize this and have the best personalities. SPARROW is no exception. He is just a fantastic little kitten and deserves an equally fantastic home. Please consider giving him the forever home he deserves.
