My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Opal is a black with a small white chest spot DLH female. She is 14 weeks old (8/2017).

The adoption fee for cats is $100 and that includes: • veterinarian examination • current vaccines • current flea, intestinal parasite, and heartworm prevention • spay/neuter • a microchip and insertion for identification if ever lost or stolen (registration fee not covered) • current FELV/FIV test In order to adopt, fill out the adoption application on our website, www.swval.org, or email us at adopt.swval@gmail.com and we’ll send you an application. Applications are considered in the order received. Since we do not have a physical location our pets are in foster homes, some as far as 2 hours from Princeton, where we are based and do our adoptions. Therefore we require an approved adoption application in order to meet a pet. This will also allow immediate possession of a pet if, at the meeting, it's decided the pet is a match. Submitting an application does not obligate one to adopt but a meeting will only be arranged for serious applicants. Initial contact is by email only as we do not have a phone dedicated to our organization and must limit use of personal phones for conducting rescue business.
