Meet Orea and Bella, adorable 8 year old Lab mix sisters have recently come to Lily's Legacy and are thriving in their foster home. Their foster dad reports that "they are easy girls who settled in well right away. It seems they have come from a home where they had spent most of their time indoors. They love walks and short runs, and lying on cool green grass. They are 100% house broken, do fine alone indoors, are dog door savvy, and are very quick learners. It appears that they haven't had much outside exposure or socialization but are always ready to go for a walk, do great on leash, respond well to basic commands and are learning more and more every day. Bella, the yellow girl, loves water, is affectionate, and attentive. Orea is more curious and independent. They did great with baths and a trip to the vet, are great with visitors - adults and children over the age of 7. We have not had them around younger children, but believe they would do fine. They are somewhat fearful of other dogs at this point, but warm up when introduced slowly. Cats are most likely not a good fit.
