Brindle....
Yesterday I hung out at a local brewery with a beautiful girl named Brindle. It took me a minute to see that the name actually fit her perfectly, but once I saw her outside in the sunshine it was like watching a caterpillar turn into a colorful butterfly.
Brindle is most likely a German Shepherd/ Lab mix and the highlights in her hair are perfect with just a little help from Mother Nature!
This special girl has a lot more to offer than just her looks though! She came to a local shelter when Dad was deployed. She is almost 3 yrs old and about 60 lbs. Brindle is a smart girl that already knows her basic commands and is house trained. She has wonderful manners while in the home, but enjoys a romp in the backyard from time to time as well. She still has a playful spirit.
She loves people, both young and old and likes to show this love by attempting to be a 60 pound lap dog or showing you her belly while giving you those seriously adorable puppy dog eyes in the hopes that she will get a belly rub out of it!
Brindle is good with other dogs and cats. She loves car rides and going on leash walks. Look at it this way; you are guaranteed a good walking partner to burn off those calories you are going to get while taking her to Starbucks for a Puppucinno and coming back with a salted caramel hot chocolate for yourself! Hey, everyone needs a drinking buddy and Brindle will be happy to be yours!
As you most certainly can see, Brindle is a well balanced , easy going girl that is going to fit in nicely into any family that would like to give her a spot on the family tree.
Brindle gave her all to her family before she became just another face in just another shelter with just another sad story. She's ready to get back to living the life of the all American dog with a family that will adore her forever.
Brindle is in good health, with the exception of being found to be heart worm positive which is very treatable. DONT let that keep you from considering this special girl as she can be adopted prior to completing her treatment AND we pay for her treatment! You can't beat that! And don't you think she would be much more comfortable in her own home, surrounded by her own family while she has her treatment?
Do you have what it takes to love a girl like this? She's not going to be a hard dog as she is just the perfect age and well seasoned! She surely deserves someone with dedication to her for a lifetime.
