Tate's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tate's Story...
This guy is a hoot. Tate is about 8 years old and weighs about 30 pounds. He was found as a stray wandering down the highway and he was terrified. He didn't even make a move for a few days but once he realized we were nice people he turned into the happies little guy! He may be 8 years old but he loves to play with the other dogs. Like most beagles Tate is definitely food motivated! Tate is crate trained, housebroken, and snores like a freight train! It's the most endearing sound when he's sacked out on the floor snoring away.... so cute! Tate is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add this little snoring machine to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tate, a Southington Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Southington, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
