Bella is an absolutely sweet girl. She's got a really temperate nature. She gets along well with other dogs and she plays with our 4 year old son very gently. She's super smart and has learned sit, stay and come in a couple of days. She's crate trained and although we heard she's rough on her blankets she has not chewed them while with us. She's very high energy since she's still a puppy, but she's so eager to please and very sensitive to tone of voice so she's quick to learn the boundaries and expectations. She really wants to be an inside dog and she spends the majority of her time in our house. We've not left her unsupervised but we've trained her to stay off the furniture and she can sit nicely right next to the dinner table. She did try to counter surf the first day with us but we've been vigilant and she's not tried again. Bella would probably be fine as an only dog but she loves playing with our dog. She's still a puppy and is very high energy but if you are up to the task of training her she will make an excellent addition to anyone's home.

About West Side Animal League

About Our Rescue Group...

West Side Animal League is a volunteer organization that rescues animals from various Fort Worth area shelters. We strive to accomplish our goal of responsible pet ownership by raising public awareness of the need to spay and neuter pets and holding adoption events, spending quality time socializing the animals and in many cases bringing them into our homes as fosters until they can find their own fur-ever home.

We provide vaccinations and medical care as funds are available. 100% of our expenses are covered by donations and adoption fees. We are only able to accomplish this through the generosity of both time and money from others who also want to make the world a better place for our furry friends. If you would like to find out about opportunities to help, call our League line at 817-565-8222 or go to our meetup site at www.meetup.com/West-Side-Pet-Adoption-Meetup-Group. Thank you for your support as we continue Working to Save Animal Lives!

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee ($150.00 for dogs & $100 for cats) is for an already-altered pet or a voucher to get the pet altered and up to date on all shots. An adoption form will be required along with an agreement to have the pet altered within 30 days (or by 6 months of age).
