NLGA is av all volunteer non profit 501(c)(3) organization. We are dedicated to finding good homes for retired racing greyhounds and educating the public about these fantastic pets.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Please visit our web site at www.ngla-mn.org to see our current avaialble dogs. You can also visit and meet greyhounds by clicking on our event page. You are bound to find an event happening in your area.
Our Adoption Process...
NLGA does go by an application process. Once the application is processed, we then set up an apointment to meet available dogs. All of the greyhounds are spayed/nuetered, teeth have been cleaned, vaccinations updated, fecal, Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichia Canis, and Lyme tests are run as well as microchipped. The greyhounds are given a full physical, bath, and nail trim. Greyhound make wonderful pets, however we do have a policy about not adopting to families that have children under 6 years of age.
Humane America Animal Foundation, dba Adopt-a-Pet.com, is a non-profit, tax-deductible 501(c)(3) adoption advertising charity. Our mission (and passion) is to help
get homeless pets out of the shelters and into loving homes. Let us know what you think! Suggestion & Comment Box

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
