Hello, I am Skippur! I recently returned to the rescue after my family had to move and could not take me with them. They were very sad to have to let me go, but knew that Ruff Start would help me find a loving family.
My rescue given name is Skippur, but I actually go by Melmo, or Mel. I actually know my name too, and will come when called.
I am being fostered in a home with another cat, dogs and a young kid. I get along with everyone; well the dogs are a little too much for my taste, but I tolerate them.
I am playful and enjoy playtime with the kid in the home. He gives me a lot of attention, and I really like that.
I also love to perch in my cat tree near the window. I love to be up high, so I can see everything going on around me. If you could have a tall cat tree, that would be great!
I am looking for my forever family. I hope to be spoiled with love... and toys!
If you are interested in me, please fill out an adoption application at www.ruffstartrescue.org. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal. Once we receive your application, a placement coordinator will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
Please check out our website, www.ruffstartrescue.org for more details and additional pictures on any of our animals!
All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
