My story

Sophia #17-403. Arrived 7/26/2017 at 3 1/2 years old.
Sophia is a familiar face at our shelter having been a stray in the past and claimed by her owner. Owner responsibility lacked for her and unfortunately this last time she was out loose and got into the yard of another home. She caught the resident dog there by surprise and a scuffle ensued. Sophia is being treated for wounds and she will most definitely be left with many scars. Sophia is very sweet and a good patient for her treatments. Sophia has actually shown good dog language through our fences with the other dogs, but we don't know how much damage was done. It is possible that she will be on the defense in future interactions with other dogs. Sophia is the type of dog who would like to be a couch potato. She is a slow paced kind of gal and as you can see.... she loves her food!!!
