Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sammy! Poor Sammy came to us just covered in bite wounds but we rushed her to the vet and after some surgery and a few days in the hospital she was feeling much better. She has now fully recovered and has had a dental and is ready for her forever family. Sammy is a 12 year old Cocker Spaniel. She is a quiet little dog and gets along with all the other dogs and cats. She likes to be walked on a leash (much better than just going outside in the backyard). She is curious and appreciates the outside world with you walking next to her rather than be out in the yard with her person not in sight.
She is a lap dog but also can spend time alone or just on the furniture or a dog bed in the room with her person; and loves treats and marrow bones. She is also fine alone. She is housetrained. She does suffer a little bit of separation anxiety but that seems to go with the Cocker breed 😊 She will happily sleep in bed with you or on a dog bed on the floor.
