Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sir Cadbury is a tan neutered male Lionhead bunny about 8 years old, who weighs a little over four pounds. He was turned in to a shelter when his owners could no longer afford his care.
Sir Cadbury is a timid quiet bun with some special needs. He had been diagnosed with a testicular tumor, and had a weepy eye. Since taking him in, he has been neutered and at the moment there are no signs of metastases (he cannot be called clear of metastases for another 6-12 months).
He previously had his incisors and some molars removed due to teeth issues. He does still have some molars that overgrow and will need regular molar trims. He also has had issues with his left tear duct occasionally becoming infected as it is partially scarred.
He is a special needs bun - he only eats one brand of pellets that can be ordered from Petco and a little oats, and will need his greens, veggies, and fruits shredded into small bites. Occasionally you will see him trying to eat a piece of hay or some regular pellets, but it takes him a while to chew these when he does. We also discovered he has some jaw pain, and as long as he receives gabapentin twice a day he eats fairly well and does not need to be syringe fed.
If you're interested in adopting Sir Cadbury, please fill out the application at http://www.friendsofrabbits.org/forms/form?verify=abc123&formid=3852 and email Friends of Rabbits at adoptions@friendsofrabbits.org and someone will call or email you to schedule a visit. His adoption fee is $90, which reimburses our organization for some of her veterinary costs. Sir Cadbury is fostered in Laurel, MD.
