Here's what the humans have to say about me:
OLIVE NEEDS A FOSTER/ADOPTER
UPDATED 8/8/17
Below is what the guy who found her wrote about her. He wanted to keep her but he rents and can’t have her :( He goes by the clinic where she’s boarding everyday and takes her for a ride and walk.
" When Olive was dumped in my neighborhood a couple of months ago, she was scared and confused. I decided something needed to be done, so I made efforts to win the outcast pup over. She was eating out of my hand within 5 minutes. I fed her a can of tuna and left for work. When I arrived home, she was waiting on me with tail and body wagging and whimpering for me to pet and love on her. That evening I stayed on the screened porch with her until 1:30am, because she didn't want me to leave. So I sat beside her while gently petting her head until she fell fast asleep. I told her that I was going inside now and she barely opened one eye and closed it again. That was my cue that she felt secure, probably for the first time in a long while. The next day was more of the same and she's been a very happy go lucky and loyal dog ever since. She has since been around dozens of people and other animals and has shown nothing but a stable and loving temperament. This girl is very friendly and playful to everyone/dog she meets.
The only thing she likes better than a good stick to chew on is her leash. She gets excited when she sees it and walks very well.
Olive would make a joyful addition to any loving and caring household looking for a loyal and happy furry companion! She is reserved for only the best!
Mike
PS She loves riding in a car :-)"
Olive is approx 3 years old & weighs 57 pounds. She is a beautiful blue brindle girl. She is a very sweet, happy girl. Olive is current on shots, spayed and micro-chipped. She was heart worm positive, but has successfully completed her treatment and is ready for her forever home.
