My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AUTUMN HAS BEEN ADOPTED!! Autumn is a fun-loving, happy and energetic girl looking for a family to love. She's around 2 years old and around 50 pounds so a great medium sized. Autumn loves to play and has a very silly personality. This girl loves to play fetch! She'll be a great companion for an active home. This sweet lady was originally found as a stray in very rural, southern IL. She was never claimed and ended up spending a full year at the local animal control facility. The shelter is in a sparsely populated town with a low adoption rate, so Autumn's chances of finding a home down there were slim. Pal's Place heard her story and thought bringing her up to Chicago would greatly increase her chances of finding a home. Autumn is currently in a loving and nurturing foster home in Glencoe that is working hard with her to help Autumn be the best Autumn she can be! Autumn can be a little timid when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and is easily won over with some kind words and yummy treats. Autumn would do best with a patient guardian who would like to continue her training and socialization. She loves other dogs and would do great in a home with a confident and social pooch to help show her the ropes! We are very hopeful that with a little more time and lots of love, we'll see the confident dog we know she is in her heart! She is very intelligent and eager to please and in just a couple of weeks, she's mastered several commands including, sit, stay, no, down, come, heel, off, paw and go to bed. Autumn is quiet and well behaved in the home. She is also housetrained and does well in her crate! Autumn is currently being fostered in a home with cats as well and shows little interest in them. If seriously interested in possibly adopting this deserving pup, please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com

•Autumn's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover her spay, initial vaccines, initial worming, and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Autumn from euthanasia.
