Hermes's Story...
Meet the playful and sweet Mr. Hermes. He is approximately 20 lbs and 4 months old. He will not be that big of a dog when full grown (maybe 40lbs max). He is still a puppy but is learning crate and house training. He plays hard and sleeps hard just like puppies do! He is used to playing with all larger dogs so smaller dogs may not like his style J He tries to get everyone to play with him but will respect if someone does not want to play too. He has the cutest faces and expressions and adorable floppy ears. If Hermes happens to pique your interest, please visit www.forrescue.net to fill out an application for him. He is currently being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hermes, a Knoxville Australian Kelpie/Mixed Breed (Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie/Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Australian Kelpie/Mixed Breed (Medium) puppy from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie/Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Australian Kelpie/Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
