Facts about Mama Faith

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
The mother to the kittens we have listed born on May 1, 2017, Mama Faith is under a year old. In fact, as of August 2017, our vet estimates her to be nine months of age .
She hid from her foster humans the first couple of days when she moved in. However, when she did come out she immediately sought out petting and attention. She has hissed a few times, the first-time a dog came in the room for example, but she has never swatted. She loves human attention and seeks it out. She is sweet and gentle and was such an excellent Mama to the kittens.
When her foster mom leaves the room she love bites my ankles to try to get her to stay. She has not approached the dogs in her foster home, but she tolerates visits into the room when they are brought in.

About Mini Mighty Mutts

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a nonprofit, 501(C)(3), all volunteer, limited admission small dog rescue organization funded by private donations and adoption fees. We are a group of individuals who are dedicated to rescuing small breed dogs who have been abandoned, abused, neglected or left behind by their former owners. Our belief is that companion animals are living beings who are not merely "pets" but family members. We strive to find homes for them who share this view. We are committed to providing them with a temporary home where they receive veterinary care, including spay or neuter, socialization, exercise, love and good nutrition until their forever home can be found. We do not discriminate against small dogs based on breed or physical disability.

Mini Mighty Mutts is a limited admissions rescue. We can only take in as many animals as our foster homes can safely and responsibly care for. We do not euthanize animals to make room for more. We simply stop taking in new animals until we have room. Each homeless dog will remain in our care until he or she finds a new home.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application and a home visit prior to all of our adoptions. We do adopt out of state, and may have a representative from another rescue complete the home visit for us. Once the home visit is completed and approved, the dog is available for you to adopt! While this sounds like a lengthy process, it actually is often completed in a day or two. We have an adoption contract that is filled out at the time of adoption, along with adoption fee's collected at that time.
Our adoption fee's are
Under 1yr: $250
1yr to 9yrs: $200
10yrs and up: $150
