Rascal (Fresno)'s Story...

Oh My Gosh!  Happy-go-Lucky Rascal is F U N!  He is only 8 months old, 17 pounds and about 17” tall.

This little boy is high energy, playful, and eager to please.  He gets along with other dogs, like car rides, is crate trained, house trained, and is good with children.  Rascal has sooooo much to offer the active family who wants a dog who is willing and able to go when they are.  He’ll be an excellent running or hiking partner, and with that beautiful, lanky body I bet he would thrive at agility.

The best family for Rascal would be an active family who will include him in their everyday life, and take him with them on their special days.

If you’re interested in meeting Rascal or knowing more about him, please contact Lynn at lynnbonham1@gmail.com or go to our website at www.russellrescueca.com to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascal (Fresno), a Los Angeles Jack Russell Terrier/Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Whippet for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Whippet dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Whippet breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
