My name is Arctic!

American Eskimo Dog Mix Dog for adoption in Detroit, Michigan - Arctic

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Arctic's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Arctic's Story...
Arctic is 4 years old, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm preventative.

Arctic was brought to us as a stray. When she came to us, she was very scared, we are not recommending her around small children. She seems to get along with other dogs of her size, but would recommend a meet and greet. She knows some basic commands.

The adoption fee is $150 for dogs and $200 for puppies. Please complete the adoption application on our website at www.MACSshelter.org or visit the shelter during adoption hours, Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30am to 3pm. Please note that some of our pets are in foster homes and may not be available at the shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arctic, a Detroit American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
