Facts about Argo

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
DOB May 2, 2017. Argo is a sweet and energetic kitten. Argo's favourite things to do include eating, sniffing humans, playing with toys and nuzzling up against his human's legs. He also really enjoys sprinting across the room and chasing his kitty friends.
Argo is one of the lucky kitties who was transferred in from a shelter in Quebec. Although not much is known about his history, when he first came to his Toronto foster home, Argo seemed to be inexperienced with human contact. His foster mother has been working on this with him, and he's turning into an loving, purring ball of fur (although still not a fan of being picked up). With all of the progress that he's made in the past couple of weeks, he's sure to mature into an exceptionally affectionate cat.
Argo would love a cat companion, in order to help him develop his kitty manners and help him transition into his new family. He would also be well suited for a home where his new family can give him lots of love and attention.
Argo is such a sweet boy with a heart of gold. He can't wait to find his forever home, so come adopt him today!

About Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

***AUGUST ONLY*** All our cats two years and older have a reduced adoption fee of $100 (vs. our standard fee of $175).

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $100 per cat vs. $175 per cat.
