Important Note

Chloe is best friends with PeeWee. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Estimated Birthdate  02-14-2016

Chloe was dropped off at the  shelter  this  spring  with her two nursing kittens.   The  shelters
don't  have  space to keep nursing families they  called  SCB  to see if we  could take her in
since she was such a  loving, friendly  kitty.     Chloe  had a URI but continued to  care  for
her  little ones  regardless  of how bad she felt.   We  pulled the  babies at  6  weeks  so  Mom
could  start taking antibiotics and recouping.  3 weeks  later she was  gaining  weight and  losing
the  cold and turning  into the  kitten she never got to be.   She loves to  play and  really  loves
to be  held and  petted.   She  gets along  with all  of the  other  kitties  and  the  scared ones  flock to her.

Pee Wee  is in the  same area  as  Chloe  was and the first time they  came nose to nose it was an
instant bond for  both of them.  Pee Wee  who is  still  scared of  new things out of her  routine finds comfort and confidence  when she is  with  Chloe.     They  will  cuddle and  sleep wrapped around each other sometimes.  They are similar in  size and age and both are  beautiful,  gentle  girls.

Chloe is  spayed,  litterbox trained,  up to date on her  vaccines,  microchipped  and tested negative
    for  FIV and  FeLV.

About Stray Cat Blues

About Our Rescue Group...

Officially, Stray Cat Blues, Inc. is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing rescue and placement to stray, abandoned, and feral cats. Personally, SCB is a small group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to find loving, life-long homes for cats. We are professional in our practices, but we are emotional on the subject of homeless cats, and the ways in which we humans can work to prevent this epidemic of strays.

Stray Cat Blues actively works to find permanent homes for the stray cats in our program. Our kittens and cats are exposed to the pet-loving public at our different adoption locations (see Come Meet our Pets section below) to facilitate adoptions and to provide visibility for our organization. Our cats can also be seen online at

Most of our cats offered for adoption are strays and their offspring that are rescued off the streets.

For those stray cats that are more wary of humans, especially feral cats, we can help humanely trap, sterilize and either return them if the area they live in is safe and they are being fed, or we house them and adopt them out as barn cats.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application with vet references or a home visit. All the animals are screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes. Our adoption fee is only $95. (Fee can be paid by cash or check at our Petsmart North Wales/Montgomeryville location. At our Collegeville location, the fee can be paid by cash, check, or credit card.)

If you are interested in adopting a cat, you can find our online adoption application at our website - On the side of the page there is a section labeled Quick Adoption Links. Click on the link for application to adopt a House Cat. Click on this link, fill out this short form, and be sure to click Submit at the bottom. One of our Adoption Reps will then contact you within a couple of days to guide you through the adoption process.

Alternately you can complete a paper application at Petsmart when we have SCB volunteers present (see times for adoption showings). Questions - email us at: We are happy to answer general questions, and also put you in touch with the foster families for questions about specific cats.
