My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cutie is looking for a happy new home. Unfortunately, her owner died and she ended up in a shelter along with her older sister. They are both in Dusty Paws foster care - separately, as they get on each other's nerves vying for peoples' attention.

Cutie is well-named, as it's the first description that comes to mind when you meet her. She is sweet, outgoing and energetic. Her age is estimated at 6-8 but she seems very puppyish. She has had a recent dental cleaning and has been spayed. She is currently being treated for dry eye and some skin flakiness due to flea allergy.

Cutie has been fostering in a home that includes cats - which she tends to ignore, focusing instead on her foster mom. She LOVES people, including an older child who has visited and given her walks. Her foster mom hopes she can be adopted into a home with someone who can be with her a lot. However, she also notes that as Cutie loves to throw herself at your feet, rolling over for a tummy rub, she might be a challenge for a senior with mobility problems.

Cutie is a smart little dog. She appears to be house trained and can learn a schedule for potty breaks. She eats well and barks little, although she gave quite a talking to to a raccoon who appeared on the fence one night. And...she figured out how to open the sliding screen door to the house, in the process letting a cat out.
