Our mission is to encourage responsible pet ownership and to provide all animals within our care: nutrition, humane treatment, necessary and prompt veterinarian care.

The Tehama County Animal Care Center is located at:
1830 Walnut Street, Red Bluff, CA 96080

Our Adoption hours are:
10:00 am -12:00 pm and 1:00 pm-4:30 pm Monday-Saturday.

Our Adoption Process...

An adoption application musty be completed and reviewed prior to adoption.

Adoptions fees are as follows:
Dogs (included puppies): $145
Cats (including kittens): $90

In many instances, if an animal is already altered or their adoption is sponsored, the ‘reduced price’ adoption fee is $45 or less for dogs, and $20 for cats. Note some exceptions may happen.

HOLDS: Animals can be placed on a 24 hour hold by calling our office.

We encourage all potential adopters to bring any current dogs down to the shelter to meet and greet possible new pets.
