Sugar's Story...
Sugar
Sugar is said to be an older gal. She was rescued from a canal in Surprise, Arizona. It is believed that she was stuck in the canal, trying to get out for some time as she was very tired when rescued. She is being held by a good samaritin who says she is good with her 20 month old grandson, not good with small dogs, and very sweet.

It is estimated that she is an older gal, around 8 and moves slowly at times due to her back end. We aren't sure yet if this due to her old age or her ordeal in the canal.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Phoenix/Tucson Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Phoenix/Tucson, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Phoenix/Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix/Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix/Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix/Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
