I found this beautiful and vibraint Bloodhound, in Baldwin County, AL one year ago.
He has had good Vet care
He is neutered microchipped and on heart and flea prevention.
He is a loving dog but all blood hound. He is kept in a fenced backyard with my pet donkey and goats and other dogs. He is a delight to me and my husband. He can obey general commands. He is a email@example.com likes truck or car rides. He kennels at night and does not dig out or try to run away.
His bad habits we not unusual for his breed. These are slobbering kisses, some jumping and the hound dog barking howl.
Recently He has two separate episodes of biting people. Both persons described similar events. They tell of gently patting (what seemed like a friendly dog)while suddenly and out of nowhere, He bit them on the arm. We are at a loss and need help Possible a bloodhound rescue or trainer. We cannot keep a dog that might bite and we may have to face euthanasia.
