How can you not fall in love with this precious girl at first sight? The look of a lab, the size of a dachshund and the sweetest eyes that will ever look at you! This southern belle is from North Carolina. Sadly she was never given preventitive so she has been diagnosed with heartworm disease. But with treatment, which K-9 Lifesavers provides, she will be as good as new. Are you ready to give this lovable girl the happy home she deserves?

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
