My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Derby is all terrier, wire hair terrier. He has the energy, the attitude, the fun, the smarts and he is all character!



Derby is also at that adolescent puppy age.

He is cutting those back teeth so he is wanting to chew on long items to relieve the pressure. But he is a shredder: toys, blankets in his crate, etc. He should grow out of this but right now he has no blankets or beds in his crate because if we accidentally leave a bed in his crate we come back to a crate full of stuffing with him buried underneath it! It's rather funny. Thus far he has only done this when in his crate.

Derby has a lot of potential but he will need some training. A basic doggy obedience class would do wonders.

Also, lots of getting him out and about to explore the world.
