Meet "Sassy". Sassy is a 10 to 12 month old young female who was found in a depleted state begging for food outside of a local restaurant. She was skin and bones and scared and could not see due to a head injury which resulted in a concussion(and loss of vision). (She also had an injured paw) Her vision has since returned and She has since thrived in her foster home and has learned to trust and to play and to act like a normal cat. Sassy gets along with other cats, loves to be petted and loves her mousy toy. Sassy would do best in a home without small children but older children would be OK.
We are a group of foster homes who rescue lost, abandoned, stray or unwanted cats and kittens. We are a all volunteer, 501c non-profit rescue group -we rely strictly on the generously of the public.
Wayward Whiskers provides veterinary care, nutrition, and socialization until our animals find a forever home. All animals are fostered in our homes; we do not have a shelter building. Space is limited, but we try to best to help as many animals as we can. Our foster families also maintain full-time jobs so please be patient with return phone calls and emails.
