My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone Hazel peeping in to say hello….. my foster mom just gave me some great news, I’m almost ready to be adopted to my forever family! My mom says someone is about to get really lucky to have me in their life J. I am a little girl weighing in at around 30 lbs, my mom says I have the prettiest golden eyes and that I’m as sweet as they come. And I can tell you that I LOVE when my foster dad gives me belly rubs with his feet, I think that’s my favorite thing ever! I’m a 2-3 year old terrier mix that Sophie’s Circle rescued from that horrible place they call the Redlands dumping grounds. As you may expect I had to fight to survive in that horrible place so I really don’t like other dogs too close to me when I eat, sometimes I yell at my fur brothers and tell them to back off but mom says I’m mostly talk and she has been working with me on that and I’m getting much better than I was, same when I’m in my personal space trying to nap, I don’t like nosey neighbors sniffing up on me so I may tell my fur brothers to leave me alone, but I really don’t mean any harm, it just takes me a bit to feel safe after everything I’ve been through on the streets J. I love playing with my fur brothers, I can run and romp with the big boys as they are both 70 plus pounders and we have so much fun together and I’m also good with cats! Mom has these things called sugar gliders that I’m VERY interested in, I wonder if they really taste like sugar and I think I might want to find out one day so mom keeps me off their cage and tells me no- no L. As much as I love to play I also like to just cuddle up and relax if that is what is in store for the day. My mom says I’m well rounded that way. I am 100% crate trained and I will go to the door when I have to go outside to potty, mom says as long as you are paying attention there are no accidents in the house, I’ve been with my foster mom for 4 months and only had 3 accidents the whole time! I’ve recently received my last heartworm shot and now I’m just waiting to get spay and then guess what … I’m all yours! I really love my foster family but I can’t wait to have a forever home of my very own!
