My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET ELLA!! Ella is just the happiest dog you will ever meet! She is about 3 years old, and sadly was an owner surrender to a shelter after her owners could not care for her anymore. They told the shelter that Ella was hit by a car when she was younger and didn’t heal quite right, so that’s why her face is a little funny looking. Her snout is a little bit off center and because of that she has a little bit of an under-bite so a couple teeth kind of stick out when her mouth is closed. No matter what, we think she is just precious and her imperfections just make her special! Ella doesn’t let anything get her down! She can eat and drink water just fine, and it doesn’t seem to stop her from enjoying life, not one bit!! Ella is a happy, go lucky girl with a lot of labby energy, but she settles down easily once she’s in the kennel. She seems to be crate trained so far. Ella is a big girl at around 67 pounds and she is tall. She doesn’t really know her size so a home with very small children might not be the best, as she may knock them over on accident.
10/20/17--FOSTER UPDATE--ELLA!! A couple weeks ago, Ella completed doggie bootcamp where she learned basic obedience and doggie etiquette. She then was able to move to a foster home. Here is an update from her foster family!
"We have fostered Ella for almost two weeks now, and Ella has adjusted really well with us. She loves playing with our lab Juno, going outside on walks, and getting lots of belly rubs. We like to make sure she gets her energy out through the walks and playing. She has done nicely in her crate while we are away at work, and at night sleeps on her dog bed next to us. Ella has continued to practice her commands like sit, down, stay, and heeling for walks, and is doing really well with all of them."

11/1/17--FOSTER UPDATE!! Attached are some photos of Ella dressed up for Halloween last night!
Ella is doing awesome. She didn’t mind at all when I put her costume on, and did well with all of the trick or treaters at the door. Ella continues to love to play nicely, and hang out with our lab. She also loves relaxing with people, and getting her ear and belly rubs.
