About Our Shelter...
The Foothills Humane Society, Inc. is a private, nonprofit organization supported by individual donations, adoption fees, fundraising activities and bequests. No government funds are provided for the construction or operation of this shelter. We are dedicated to sheltering stray, homeless and abandoned animals, and to placing healthy animals in appropriate homes. The Society also provides financial assistance to people in need through it's spay and neuter program. We also provide programs for educating the public in responsible pet ownership.

Our Adoption Process...
All adopters must fill out an adoption application. Once approved, the adoption fee must be paid at that time. All animals will will spayed/neutered prior to going home with adopter. If animal is too young, the ahelter will ask for a refundable, non-cashed security deposit to be held till animal is spay or neutered. Adotable animals receive initial vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick control, testing based on age, as well as being micro-chipped. Adoption fees are 80.00 for dogs and 55.00 for cats. Special discounts can be given if more than one animals is adopted at the same time (Cats Only).
