Blanca's Story...
Hi, my name is Blanca. I am a one year old female Boxer that is deaf. But I don’t know that. My foster mom talks to me all the time. I sure do seem to understand what she is saying. I do know hand signals, whatever those are. I think it is when my foster mom talks to me with her hands. I know several tricks and I ring a bell when I have to go potty. I am housetrained and I love to play with balls and the rope toys my foster mom has for me. I have 3 foster boxer brothers and 1 foster boxer sister. We have birds here and I look at them but have never tried to bother them. I had a small dog at my last house and I tried to play a little too rough.. I did not mean to but it probably would be better with dogs my own size. I have not been around cats so I do not know if I would like them or not. I have such soft white fur and I sure do love to be petted. I do love kids. I had 3 teenagers at my last house. I sure am looking forward to my new forever home. Mom says there is the perfect one for me somewhere, if you want to be my forever home, please remember my name and number when you fill out the application. Blanca 3624. Thank-you and I promise lots of love and kisses, my favorite thing in the whole world.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blanca, a Dayton Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Dayton, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Dayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
