Animal Rescue of the Rockies pulls abandoned dogs and cats from shelters and places them in loving foster homes until their forever homes are found. Our philosophy is that each pet deserves a loving home and a long, healthy, happy life. We do everything in our power to ensure pets receive the training, veterinary care, and loving attention needed.
Our Cat Casita in Fairplay, CO houses adoptable cats in a cage-free cat "playroom" - visitors are welcome to stop by and meet our cats anytime during open hours. The Cat Casita is located downstairs at High Paw Pet Supply, 503 Hwy. 285, Fairplay, CO (719) 836-4909.
We also operate a thrift store in Breckenridge, Colorado to help fund our operations so we can help as many pets as possible. Animal Rescue of the Rockies Thrift Shop is located at 203 N. Main Street in Breckenridge, (970) 453-4339.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We hold adoption events several times monthly at PetSmart and Petco locations in Denver and Loveland, Colorado. Check out website's home page for upcoming events, locations, and times: www.arrcolorado.org
Our Adoption Process...
We ask potential adopters to fill out our adoption application form on our website online, or we can email one directly. Once the application is reviewed and approved, one of our volunteers does a home visit. Once the home visit has been approved, an adoption agreement needs to be filled out online at www.arrcolorado.org
