Lynn's Story...
My name is Lynn, and I'm the vocal one of the family. My foster mom loves it because I'm always the greeter when she comes home at night--she even nicknamed me "Meow Meow." Like my siblings, I love other kittes, humans, and even dogs! I'm a little female kitten, about 12 weeks old. As tiny babies, my sisters (Sugar and Zoey) and brother (Merlin) and I found ourselves all alone next to a dumpster. Well, our mom never came back and we just couldn't find enough to eat in that dumpster, so we were happy to be put in a cage in the Radford City Shelter, before moving in with our foster family. We are all full of joy, affection, and fun, and would love to come live with you permanently inside your home. If you are ready to let me adopt you forever, please submit an online application at or contact

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lynn, a Radford Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Radford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Radford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Radford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Radford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Radford paves the way for another one to be saved.
