Meet Sweet Thang! Sweet Thang is a two-year-old cat that is searching for her forever home! She came into the shelter as a stray, found on 1873 Wisconsin Street in Beloit. Now she is looking for a forever home! She's a little shy at first but has warmed up to the staff at the shelter and would love to meet you! HSSW is a stray hold facility and adoption center located in Janesville, Wisconsin. We are a non-profit organization and depend on donations to operate. We intake approximately 2,500 animals each year.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our adoption center is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12pm-7pm, Closed (by appointment only) on Wednesday, and open Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-5pm.
Our Adoption Process...
An adoption application is completed after an adopter finds the right match.
All adoptions include: spay/neuter, vaccines including rabies if age appropriate, deworm, heartworm or feline leukemia testing, flea/tick/ear mite treatment, 30 days free pet insurance, and a microchip.
